About Us Since 1999 Backyard Outfitters has been your source for Outdoor Kitchens, Spas, Furniture and just about everything for the backyard. We downsized in 2010 hoping to weather the Western Slope's economic downturn. Try though we may, we closed our retail store in November of 2011.. While we still do not have a retail store, we have re-done our business model and our website in hopes of returning and rebuilding what we started in 1999. To that end, we welcome you to our new web site! Our focus remains on the Backyard and we are introducing a new line of pre-fab outdoor kitchens (which are customizable) and our new line of Charcoal smokers and grills known as 'The Good One" or Ace of Hearts. Our focus will be also on helping our customers meet their desires for an outdoor kitchen by utilizing our experience and your work through a DYI program.
